Dedicated to promoting a truly global education for the younger generation, KWG Education Group has recently reached a long term collaboration agreement with Magdalen College School, Oxford, U.K. (MCS), to jointly advance the development of international school education across China.

This marks a significant progress for KWG Education Group’s international school division, as well as an important strategic move in view of the push for international education collaborations in the Greater Bay Area. Meanwhile, the initiative will be a transformative milestone for MCS and will support its future strategic goals in the U.K. as MCS prepares for its 550th anniversary in 2030.

Founded in 1480 by William of Waynflete, MCS is located in the center of Oxford on the banks of the River Cherwell, with a beautiful classical campus. Originally founded as part of Magdalen College (University of Oxford), with which it still retains a connection. The first school of the collaboration is planned to open in 2024 in the Greater Bay Area. It will play an important role in nurturing talents and enabling the cultural exchanges for the local communities, as well as empowering the younger generation through a multilateral, innovation-driven, top-class education.
